Little Things

Little things can make a day a bit nicer, and sometimes, just wonderful.

De petites choses peuvent rendre une journée un peu plus agréable, et quelque fois, tout simplement merveilleuse.

Penguinland

Winter has arrived in Montreal a bit earlier than usual. With all that snow and on a stormy day, even going to the local grocery store feels like an adventure ! :-)

L'hiver est arrivé avec un peu d'avance à Montréal cette année. Avec toute cette neige et un jour de tempête, aller chez l'épicier du coin devient une aventure ! :-)

The Zoo - Illustration Friday

Actually, visiting zoos usually makes me just sad, but the other day when I visited the Biodôme in Montreal, I saw this cute scene. One of the penguins was really curious and kept staring at the kids, who were staring at him in return.

En fait, les zoos ça me rend généralement juste triste, mais l'autre jour, quand je visitais le Biodôme à Montréal, j'ai vu cette adorable scène. Un des pingouins était vraiment curieux et semblait s'intéresser aux enfants qui l'observaient en retour.

Superstition !

"Scale"

The blue whale is the largest animal to have ever lived on earth, even bigger than the biggest of dinosaurs. Its weight is equivalent to 30 elephants ! I find that amazing and exciting. It's such a beautiful and peaceful creature.

Le rorqual bleu est le plus grand animal ayant jamais existé sur cette planète, plus grand même que le plus grand des dinosaures. Son poids est équivalent à 30 éléphants. Je trouve ça incroyable et excitant. C'est une créature tellement belle et pacifique.

Hats

A few sketches for Illustration friday's topic of the week, "Hats". Wanted to do a mad hatter first, but he turned out quite normal and behaved, then I did a magician and a musketeer. No reason whatsoever. :-P

Quelques croquis pour Illustration Friday, sur le thème "chapeaux". Je voulais faire un chapelier fou, mais il est plutôt normal au final, puis j'ai fait un magicien et un mousquetaire. Aucune raison particulière. :-P

"Trick or Treat"

Here's a happy lion parading for Halloween. It's a great time for monsters and wild animals to have fun in the streets, without anyone noticing ! :-)
Plus the weather is really nice this year, unlike last year !

Voilà un lion très content qui parade pour Halloween. C'est un moment génial pour les petits monstres et les animaux sauvages, qui peuvent s'amuser dans la rue sans que personne ne les remarque ! :-) En plus le temps est parfait cette année, contrairement à l'année dernière !
