Hopefully this doesn't offend you, most people i know do not like country music, but the header reminds me of a song by Rodney Atkins. it's a good song...
anyway, the illustration is grand. And to be honest, I just love mice and rats, not the wild kind, the domesticated ones.

Thanks for your comments!
@ Matalonga Jorge: Of course, no pb. You have some great watercolour pieces on your blog. Makes me wish I would try it more often instead of relying on photoshop :-P

@ Matthew: No offense :-) I didn't know about it, (and don't know much about country music in general) but I'll definitely check it out.

Fantastic sketch!! Great line work and coloring. Moleskine? (or mouseskine?)

ha ha, Nice one, Lolo. Actually the cheapest possible sketch book, very small, given to me by a colleague. I have a heap of nice sketchbooks which I've never used, from fear of ruining them. :-P

thanks for the nice words!

Very nice. Simple and to the point.

Wonderful. And I like the little details of the stones and such.

Isn't it great when you can get work done on public transportation? (I sketch on the subway all the time!)

Wow, I think is an incredible illustration. I love this kind of sketches, they usually are the best ones.
The color and the characters are wonderful.
